The nymph Falasarna gave its name to one of the most important ancient cities of Crete. The ancient city has been discovered recently. Parts of the city, the acropolis, the houses and the tombs have come to surface. The stone throne that has come to surface is likely to have been dedicated to the God of Seas, Poseidon. The ancient city was surrounded by walls and connected to the sea by a canal. Today, farmland is in the place of the harbor and canal, since the beach has risen almost 5 meters! (In western Crete, this phenomenon comes from tectonic seismic events). Falasarna today is an area of rural and tourist development. Falasarna is ideal for guests who seek privacy and do not want worldly destinations. Along the bay, there are some restaurants where you can find fresh fish.

Pre-booking and Payment Terms
- To secure a reservation, the client must send a signed contract and an advance payment equal to 35% of the total cost for the chosen period of stay. If booking less than 60 days in advance, the full amount must be paid to confirm the reservation.
- The remaining balance for the rental period must be paid at least 60 days before the stay begins.
- If the client fails to pay the remaining balance by the due date, they will receive a reminder. If there is no response within 7 days, the reservation will be considered invalid, and the advance payment will be kept.
- Once the full amount is received, the client will receive a confirmation document based on the type of rental permit the villa has according to Greek law. This document could be a voucher for key collection at the villa or a contract between the client and the owner. The client will also receive information via email about how to reach the villa, the expected arrival date and time, the person receiving them, and any details regarding airport or port pickup if applicable.
