The design aspires to completely embed the stunning views into the residence. The building is placed at the top of a rocky steep slope. It features a linearly clean cut and elongated volume orientated westerly across the horizon and the coast line. It offers an exceptional sunset facing the ocean and the panorama of Poros, Methana, and Peloponnese.
The open space blends inside with out, whether its in the living areas or the bedrooms. It incorporates seamless physical or visual transitions from inside to the outside by blurring the boundaries. There are views of the coastline and ocean from every point inside. The house is split over two levels.
The ground floor is made up of a living room, dining room, kitchen, guest WC, one bedroom with en-suite, and a utility room. The ground floor is wide open exhibiting an invisible windows frame system removing the need for enclosures. The upper floor has two bedrooms with en-suites, and a terrace.
The use of glass throughout (even in the bathroom walls) gives a wonderful sense of transparency. Vast windows, floor to ceiling throughout, bring the exquisite views of the Saronic Gulf into the house, and an infinity edge pool extends the living room out into the horizon. The outdoor areas are an extension of the house with the various sitting, barbequing and dining areas to invite guests for joyful and relaxing moments.
No boundaries design intends to epitomize a minimalistic, yet very functional and comfortable, living with the idea in mind that there is nothing left to take away.
