The Pilos beach just 250m away, is honoured with the blue flag award since this program started and organized through the season with all sorts of water sports sun beds and umbrellas, showers, WC's, provided for free, and a beach restaurant. The villa is served by a cozy little restaurant dedicated to the residents of the complex. In addition, guests may also benefit from the various amenities and services of the nearby hotel, including various restaurants, a tennis court, children’s club etc. At 800 m is the village Istron, famous for its beaches, with a lot of tavernas and supermarkets.
The villa consists of three bedrooms, a well-appointed living room and kitchen area. This villa is spacious covering 130m2 and enjoys an easy access and a fabulous view of the surrounding hills with wild vegetation. The living room is spacious (55 m2), and it combines a sitting room with a dining area and a well equipped kitchen. It has comfortable lounge furniture; 28” LCD satellite TV, home cinema/stereo, free Wi-Fi Internet connection, telephone and a fireplace. The villa is well insulated and fully air – conditioned. Its orientation (south to southwest) secures the ideal amount of sunshine for the whole season and has stunning vistas coming from its three large windows making this room extremely pleasant.
Villa Norina has three comfortable bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Two bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with a bathtub. The other bedroom has a bathroom equipped with a shower. All bathrooms are tiled with white marble.
The stone flagged terrace area of 95 m2, which offers its guests much needed privacy, has a private pool (30m2), a sunbathing area with a parasol and sun lounges. Those who enjoy dining alfresco can take advantage of the wooden gazebo and the marble table placed in it (barbecues are available upon request). The patio offers a unique view of the surrounding nature and our beautifully made gardens.
Villa Norina is an ideal location to visit interesting places around the area. To name but a few: to the east Gournia, a well maintained Minoan village; the fishermen village Mochlos, with antiquities from every historical period; the picturesque village Lastros; Sitia harbour and the Venetian castle Kazarma; Paleokastro, with a still unexplored Minoan Palace; Vai, the only natural palm forest of Europe; Agios Nikolaos town to shop and visit the museum; Spinalonga, the leper island; Panagia Kera, a 13 century temple with fresco icons; Plateau of Katharo, known for the relics of mini-elephants and mini-hippopotamus.
