This 11-bedroomed villa totally renovated in 2022, fully air-conditioned, able to sleep up to 22/26 guests, is a superb example of Greek hospitality. The grounds surrounding and the location of the villa offer total privacy to the property, therefore are the perfect retreat for large groups looking for a relaxing holiday under the Cretan sun.
Villa Ura is composed by a main house (9 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, lounge and kitchen) and a guest house (2 en-suite double bedrooms, 1 kitchen with living area and fireplace), rented together for a total of 11 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. Together with the sofabeds, this villa can comfortably accommodate up to 26 guests (21-22 in beds, 3 in sofa beds and we can also add an extra folding bed for the 26th guest if needed).
The villa is set over 3 floors, has beautiful terraces and every room offers panoramic views of sea or mountains.
On the main floor, airy and spacious, there are two comfortable lounges. The smaller one has 1 sofa, able to accommodate 1 person, a fireplace and board games, while in the bigger one there is a satellite TV and a huge sofa bed, ideal for spending time all together enjoying the marvelous view of the sea. This sofa bed can also be used as a king size bed for two more guests when you remove the back cushions and pull out the underframe.
On the same floor there are also 2 large dining tables for up to 24 prs in total (12 persons each one), a large, fully equipped, modern kitchen with washing machine, as well as a shower room with double shower cabin.
On the lower ground floor (pool level) there is one en-suite double bedroom (en-suite shower room) as well as a separate shower room so as to be usable for those who are spending time in the pool and garden area.
On the first floor, there is a double en-suite bedroom with satellite TV and a private balcony. On this floor there is also a separate shower room.
Stairs lead up to the second floor with 4 double bedrooms, all with windows with great views while the two of them are sharing a balcony.
On this level, there is also shower room with double shower cabin and double hand basin.
On your right as you enter this floor, 6 stairs lead you up to a further double bedroom and a low height attic with 2 single beds that can be converted into a queen size double bed.
Finally, there is lovely an attic in one of the four bedrooms of this floor, that together with it, is perfect for a small family with young kids. This attic has a semi-double bed and a private balcony with the most breathtaking views that you can imagine!
Last but not least, the recently added annex that has 2 ensuite double bedrooms and a kitchen with living area, ideal for a small family or 2 couples.
The whole property is air-conditioned for the comfort of our guests.
Outside, Villa Ura is a true oasis! There are paved terraces and gardens with lawn for sunbathing. Spending long hours under the shining sun, or strolling around the gardens, will be a true delight!
The newly added private swimming pool measures 9m x 6m (depth 1.4m) with comfortable sunbeds, parasols and lovely views. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax under the shining Cretan sun.
A covered dining area with brick-built barbecue is also available as well as private parking (gated) for 5-6 cars.
It is located fifteen (15km) kilometers from the center of the capital Heraklion, the archaeological museum of Knossos and all the sights of the city and twenty-two (22km) kilometers from the National Airport of Heraklion “Nikos Kazantzakis”. The most comfortable way to reach us from the airport of Heraklion is by driving along the coastal National Highway (VOAK/E75). The trip is about 25 minutes (22.6 km).
In order to avoid the hassle of buses, schedules, and expensive taxi fees for luggage, it’s a great idea to rent a car. As a matter of fact, the best way to explore the island is to do it by car. This way, you will be able to explore unique hidden gems, such as unspoiled beaches and unknown traditional villages which you could not easily reach with any other means of transport.
