The way Villa Ilose is built tells its wonderful history. Dating back to the 19th century, this two-story villa was created with the finest local materials by the craftsmen of the island with centuries of housebuilding tradition.
It’s harmonic, functional shape and crafted smooth walls, vaulted ceilings and arched openings show the traditional constructing methods of carving into the soft pumice of the village hills, keeping the house cool all summer long. This old school has been smartly renovated, preserving its authentic character and upgrading the essence of comfort and luxury at the same time.
Another notable feature of the Villa is its natural ambient interior temperature. The natural insulation of the earthen walls of the space regulated the temperature of the school house, keeping the interior warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Pre-booking and Payment Terms
- To secure a reservation, the client must send a signed contract and an advance payment equal to 35% of the total cost for the chosen period of stay. If booking less than 60 days in advance, the full amount must be paid to confirm the reservation.
- The remaining balance for the rental period must be paid at least 60 days before the stay begins.
- If the client fails to pay the remaining balance by the due date, they will receive a reminder. If there is no response within 7 days, the reservation will be considered invalid, and the advance payment will be kept.
- Once the full amount is received, the client will receive a confirmation document based on the type of rental permit the villa has according to Greek law. This document could be a voucher for key collection at the villa or a contract between the client and the owner. The client will also receive information via email about how to reach the villa, the expected arrival date and time, the person receiving them, and any details regarding airport or port pickup if applicable.
