Entering the villa on the ground floor on the right side, there is a spacious open plan area consisting of the living room with a large sofa, an armchair, a fireplace, a satellite 55” smart HDTV including Netflix and a Nintendo Wii, an indoor dining area and a fully equipped island style kitchen of top quality fixtures and appliances including the Liebherr refrigerator and Gaggenau electrical equipment. The open plan area opens to both front yard and the back yard, the front yard has a spacious veranda with sitting area and an outdoor dining area that leads to the pool area while the back yard has a fully equipped barbecue area.
The left side of the ground floor hosts three bedrooms, one of them is the master bedroom with a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi. The other 2 bedrooms have a double bed and 2 single beds respectively (the single beds can be transformed to be a double one if needed). All the bedrooms have accesses to outdoor area and the pool. Additionally a bathroom with shower and a separate WC are found on the same floor.
The independent master suite is located on the lower floor of the villa that can be reached from both indoor and outdoor areas. The master suite consisting of a living room area, a kitchen, a dining table, a bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower. Additionally the suite has direct access to the garden where a sauna room and an outdoor bathroom are located.
The villa is located in an enormous private land of 4.000 sq. m and the beautifully landscaped outdoor area offers a variety of facilities and spots for relaxation.The whole outdoor area is totally private and fenced, offering full privacy to our guests.
The location of the villa, you will be surrounded by nature but also close to everything! The villa is around 10 minutes drive away from the city of Heraklion and the airport and only a few minutes drive away from the closest sandy beaches. It is also an ideal base for making excursions around the mainland of Crete and the well known traditional villages and archaeological sites nearby. The strategic location of Villa Dolce makes transfers easy, as it is found within a few minutes drive from the seafront village of Kokkini Hani in Heraklion region, around 13 km east of the city of Heraklion. In Kokkini Hani village (2 km away from the villa), apart from the clean and organized beach, you will find a bank and ATMs, supermarkets open seven days a week, bakeries, shops, taverns, cafes and bars.
In addition to the nearest sandy beach of Kokkini Hani, several organised beaches are easily accessed from the villa such as Arina beach (2.9 km), Amnissos beach (6.2 km), Karteros beach (7 km) and Ammoudara beach (19 km), etc. Additionally there are many places that can be easily visited from the villa and attractive for daily entertainment for families with children such as one of the biggest water park in Europe, Watercity (1.6 km) and Aqua Plus Waterpark (16 km), aquarium (5.2 km), planetarium (5.1 km) and dinosaurs theme park (4.8 km), etc.
Other major facilities of the island are only a breath away from the villa, such as the Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport and the port of the city, as well as the exit to the highway that gives easy access to the centre of Heraklion and to the other cities in Crete such as Rethymno, Chania, Agios Nikolaos, Hersonissos, Malia, Elounda and others.
Furthermore if you are looking for privileges that only a big city can offer, then the city of Heraklion is 13 km away and offers unique facilities and a wide variety of entertainment. The Knossos palace (16.8 km) and the archeological museum in Heraklion (14 km) are also worth to visit. Another privilege that the location of the villa offers is that the only 18-hole golf course in Crete is located only 17 km away from the villa.
