The living room and kitchen area both placed on the first floor, providing a spacious and light interior and taking advantage of the large windows that surrounds the this floor. Villa Mylia can comfortably accommodate 6 guests within the three bedrooms. They all have equal amenities available, except for the master bedroom, which is equipped with a hydro massage shower cabin, a bathtub jacuzzi and a walk-in wardrobe. The 3 bedrooms of the property are all spacious, with one located on the first floor, and the other two on the ground floor.

The area of Georgioupolis is situated between the counties of Chania and Rethymnon and offers everything you would need for a perfect holiday. The main beach of Georgioupolis leads to the beach in the Kavros area and further beaches towards the east, all the way to Petres. In fact, all together this beach can be considered to be more than 10 kilometres long. Villa Mylia is located approx. 750m from the starting point of this long sandy and beautiful beach.
This extensive sandy beach has been awarded with a Blue Flag. You will also find three rivers that meets the sea at the village of Georgioupolis and the fresh water lake of Kournas is a great place to visit offering guests a beautiful natural setting. The area of Apokoronas and the cities of Chania and Rethymno, makes the area of Georgioupolis one of the most appealing places to stay whilst in Crete.
Georgioupolis within the Apokoronas area is a resort village within the prefecture of Chania, located approx. 43km east of the heart of the city of Chania, and only 22 km west of Rethymno. If you feel like venturing further afield, Heraklio can be reached in 1,5hrs by car (approx. 100 km) east of the Georgioupolis area. Georgioupolis has its name from Prince George of Greece, the high commissioner of the island during the last years of Ottoman occupation.
The three rivers that meets the sea at the village; the largest, Almiros, creates a small harbor for fishing and tourist boats. The entrance to the village from Vrisses is easily recognized by the great eucalyptus trees that decorate the avenue.
Kournas Lake which is the only natural freshwater lake in Crete offers a beautiful natural landscape and is nested within a valley among the hills. Kournas Lake is the ideal place for an afternoon walk or a daytrip nearby. Many people like to have an afternoon picnic there. The landscape is lovely and relaxing, whether you want to go for a walk in the countryside, swim or ride a pedalo on the lake. Villa Mylia offers a free transfer to the Lake of Kournas.
