The high position at the very top of the cliff has two supreme advantages not often found in Oia: very few stairs to climb and the best views to be found in Oia. Where other houses further below have up to 100 stairs to climb, this house is reached by a mere 20 steps.

The collection of tasteful antiques and charming handcrafted local furniture mingle effortlessly with Cycladic charm and elegant simplicity. Organic, curving plaster walls, vaulted ceilings and hand-polished cement floors frame the airy main living room. Soft neutral colors gracefully complement nature’s palette of brilliant blue just outside your doorstep.

The large central living room is bright and airy. A comfortable seating area, with sofa, benches and a charming antique writing desk overlook the stunning volcano sea view. Two built-in daybeds nestled in the rear of the living room serve as extra sofas or comfortable single beds.

The kitchen evokes country elegance and luxury, with everything you need to feel right at home. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, a small cooktop/oven, convenience appliances, cookware, china and cutlery.

The hand-made polished cement countertops are smooth and warm. The vaulted plaster ceilings and various niched arches framed in volcanic stone are carefully preserved details of the original house-quaint reminders of its former historical life.

Connected to the living room with traditional stone-framed doors, is one private bedroom with connected bathroom. The queen size bed is cocooned below romantic curving ceilings and tucked into the caldera cliffs with a towering light well bringing light from above. The large bathroom is sensual and luxurious, just what one would expect.

Up a Cycladic volcanic stone stair is the second studio bedroom suite- a cozy hide-away with a queen bed and luxurious private bath.

Outdoors the large private roof-top terrace is the perfect place to unwind morning, afternoon or evening with bright, white-washed walls and colorful native flowers. During high season, busses from Oia serve all popular destinations on the island.
